Qualifications

The Children's House delivers a variety of Vocational Qualifications to the Childcare Sector, each of which is recognised for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council. Qualifications are generally grouped into categories under the headings Children's Care Learning and Development and Playwork.

Our staff are qualified and committed to the delivery of qualifications which will support Support Workers, Practitioners and Managers/Lead Practitioners as they grow and develop in their careers in working with young children.

A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all in The Hamiton School to celebrate the achievement of the 2010-2011 candidates who have undertaken Children’s Care Learning and Development II, III and IV and Playwork II and II Awards.

Modern Apprenticeship Recruitment

The second of a series of events was held on the 8th August 2011 at The Hamilton School in Queen's Road Aberdeen. The evening was a great success and gave prospective Modern Apprentices  the opportunity to embark on a career in Child care Practice.

As a result of  our successful conference on the 21st May 2011 The Children's House team were invited by  Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk to attend the launch of her new website and the premiere of  her film
