Modern Apprenticeship Recruitment

Is a career in childcare for you?

The Children's House has Modern Apprenticeships vacancies for young people aged between 16 and 19 with a good education.

To undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in childhood practice, trainees must have achieved at least 3 Highers, or equivalent including English

The Modern Apprentices will be employed in nurseries which have been carefully chosen as The Children's House's accredited childcare centres. Apprentices will be given the chance to work with children from as young as three months up to school age. They will receive on-the-job training in full-time positions as they work towards qualifications and salaries will vary according to age and experience.

On completion of a Modern Apprenticeship, trainees will have achieved Level three in Children's Care Learning and Development with core skills. This will enable them to register with the Scottish Social Services Council as a practitioner.
