When an apprentice embarks upon training, a Workplace Mentor is identified and an Assessor is allocated from
. Mentors and the Assessors support and guide our trainees to success. Practical assignments must be completed as a result of attendance at training events and Assessors make regular visits to workplaces to observe and assess the quality of our trainees' competence with children. On completion of a Modern Apprenticeship, trainees will have achieved a Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development with Core Skills in Communication, Working with Others, Problem Solving, Numeracy and Information Technology.
